Post 7: Childhood Series

Imagen
When i was a kid, in my house we had no cable, we watched the national channels where only put cartoons on the weekends in the morning, in a program Called "Cubox" on Channel 13.  My favorite cartoons of Cubox was The Powerful Girls and some chilean cartoons like "Los Pulentos" and "Diego y Glot".  My mom call them "monos" and i remember that i passed all the saturday mornings in front of tv eating cereal.  Was a good time. On the other hand, the Chilevision channel passed some cartoons in the afternoon and the most iconic for me was "Shin - Chan", a Japanese series focused in the life of a very naughty boy. Me and my mom watch him every day and we laughed a lot.  Another Japanese series was Doraemon better known as "The Cosmic Cat" about the adventures of Nobita and a blue cat from the future. Post 6: Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?

Imagen
Monica Rincón Mónica Rincón is a Chilean journalist and news host. She born in 1975 and studied Journalism in the Catolic University and she graduated as the best student of her generation. She made her professional practice in Canal 13 but her first job as a journalist was in TVN that means Televisión Nacional de Chile. She started making dispatches and reporting but time later she made reports outside of Chile, in countries like Francia, Nicaragua, Argentina, Mexico and others. I like Mónica Rincón because she is a great woman and people respect her as a journalist. She support the feminist causes and share ideas with her followers on social networks. Also, she is always in fashon and post pictures of her looks for tv. Like a curious fact in 1994 she participated in the chilean beauty contest "Miss 17". I think Mónica is an admirable and successful woman who could be a good example for many girls in Chile.

When i was in my last year of high school, me and my bestfriends decided make the "Cimarra". It was funny because i told my mom first to avoid problems and she was agree. That day in the morning, me and my friends got together in the park in front of  high school and then we go to the beach. It was cold but only some hours until the sun came up. We have a funny breakfast in the beach with things that  we bring from home like tea, cookies and fruits. While we eating we talked about we wanted to do when we graduate also we share memories about the last four years togethers. The photo is a groupal selfie and was taken by Josefa, the first girl. The second girl is Coni, then is Javiera and finally me, so weird in the background. I like this photo beacuse reminds me good moments of my adolescence. After take this photo we go to Coni's house to make pizza and drink a lot "michelada", was a very good day.
